SpoutTrim is patented downspout finishing trim that covers sharp cut edges on standard 2x3 and 3x4 downspouts for a safer, cleaner finished look.

Are downspout edges really that sharp?

Yes. Downspouts are made from thin, cut metal that often leaves razor-sharp edges. SpoutTrim covers those exposed ends so kids, pets, and bare feet stay safe.

What are SpoutTrim caps made of?

They're made from 100% recycled, UV-resistant plastic built to last through all seasons without cracking or fading.

Will SpoutTrim collect leaves or debris?

No. SpoutTrim covers only the edge of the downspout, so it doesn't block water flow or collect leaves and debris.

Which size should I choose, and how do I measure?

Measure the width and height of your downspout opening. SpoutTrim comes in 2×3 and 3×4 sizes. Pick the one that matches your inner dimensions. See our Fit Guide at spouttrim.com/fit-install for a full walkthrough.

What colors are available? Can I paint SpoutTrim?

SpoutTrim comes in black, white, and brown to match most gutters. You can paint it with outdoor plastic paint for a custom color.

Is it easy to install? Do I need tools?

Installs easily, no tools required. See our Fit & Install guide at spouttrim.com/fit-install for a full walkthrough.
